One of the requirements for the synchronization to work correctly is that HotSync must be configured to backup files from your handheld to your PC.  If you do not have the backup feature of your HotSync turned on OR it is not setup to backup from the handheld to your PC then the data you enter in MyBible will be lost.

To check your HotSync settings, open your Palm Desktop software.  Select HotSync and then Custom.
